Privacy without unnecessary collection.
EmbodiedData collects only the information needed to review dataset submissions and operate this catalogue.
What we collect
Contact and dataset forms may include your name, email address, dataset metadata, source links and notes. These forms are provided through Google Forms. Basic hosting security logs may also be processed by the platform provider.
Why we use it
We use submission information to verify provenance, licensing and suitability; contact a submitter about corrections; prevent abuse; and maintain a review record.
What becomes public
A published catalogue entry may display dataset metadata, source links and publisher information. Submitter email addresses and private review notes are never shown in the public catalogue.
Retention and removal
Pending and reviewed submissions are retained for moderation and provenance. Request correction or removal through the Submit a dataset page, clearly marking the request as a privacy enquiry.
Third-party services
Google processes form responses for EmbodiedData, and publisher links may lead to services such as Hugging Face. Their own privacy policies apply when you use those services.
